MALI BLUES – TV premiere on ARTE

Our documentary MALI BLUES by Lutz Gregor celebrated its world premiere at Visions Du Réel and has then be screened at over 70 film festivals across the world, including TIFF, Raindance, Filmfest Munich and Duhok Int FF. It has been awarded as “Best Film” at Unerhört Filmfest and has successfully been released in cinemas in Germany, France and USA. On Feb 25, the documentary will first be broadcast on the German-French television channel ARTE.
The film is about four musicians from the West African country of Mali, who espouse with their music a tolerant Islam and a country at peace – Fatoumata Diawara, Bassekou Kouyaté, Ahmed Ag Kaedi and Master Soumy.
