Synopsis

The documentary paints a close and intimate portrait of Boris Herrmann, Germany’s most successful and popular extreme sailor. For over six months, he is exclusively accompanied by a film crew during key sporting and personal moments, while he prepares for his second Vendée Globe – the toughest sailing race in the world. Never before has a documentary film depicted Boris Herrmann’s life and career so comprehensively. And never before has he shared his motivation and emotions so openly with a film crew.
