We are glad that “Blood in the Mobile” has been chosen for the media centre of “One World Film Clubs Austria”. “One World Film Clubs” is a project which aim is to use documentary film as a tool for education about human rights and global issues such as: migration, discrimination, poverty, racism, social exclusion, climate change or armed conflicts. The idea behind the “One World Film Clubs” project is to encourage young active people to educate their friends and fellow students in their free time through powerful medium, such as documentary film, and that way bring present-day, global themes to their peers. Teenagers are helped to set up a film club and inspired to organize monthly screenings of documentaries. Each screening is followed by a debate with guests, which inspires the young people to reflect critically on what was presented in the film.
